CNNC Nuclear Program

Alpha3 was retained to provide project controls consulting, including CPM schedule development, resource loading and leveling, and implementation of Oracle-Primavera P6v7 for the management of validation and verification engineering services for three nuclear power plants in China.

The plants use an indigenous Chinese pressurized water reactor (PWR) design, the CPR-1000, based on Areva's three-cooling-loop design. The first CPR-1000 reactor, Ling Ao-3 came on line in July 2010. Alpha3's work relates to the Independent Validation and Verification (IV&V) services for the implementation of Invensys Tricon 1E Controls Systems for the installation of eight new reactors at three plants.
