Alpha Three Consulting, LLC (Alpha3) provides professional consulting and project engineering services to control and manage the design, procurement, and construction of capital projects. Our engineers combine their technical and analytical skills with cost and schedule expertise so that management has the information needed to make timely, confident, and fully-informed decisions. Our clients complete their projects on time and on budget by reducing the risks that lead to project failure.

Services

Alpha3 provides services on a consulting or staff augmentation basis, depending on our individual client's needs. Many of the industries in which we work are volatile. Our clients are often firms that have downsized their internal project execution staff. Once the time for the next capital project arises, their project managers find that the personnel with the experience and knowledge necessary to execute properly are stretched thin or not available at all.

Our Staff

Alpha3's staff has expertise in a wide variety of engineering disciplines and project management functions. We emphasize cost and schedule control because we believe that those functions are where we can bring our clients the greatest return on investment. Our personnel can perform the functions of cost and schedule control effectively because they have a thorough understanding of how one affects the other. In addition, they have an understanding of the technical hurdles that must be overcome in order to successfully execute projects and an ability to know what information is most critical for management decisions.

Alpha3 has developed procedures and tools for integrating estimates with cost tracking and schedule controls that we can tailor to work with your organization. These tools allow us to develop real-time performance assessments. We can also integrate data from accounting systems so that it can be used by project managers and other project personnel for analysis, reporting, change management, or preparation of future estimates.

Federal Work

If you are undertaking Federal work, we can implement Earned Value Management Systems that are fully compliant with the ANSI/EIA 748 standard.
