Genon Energy has retained Alpha3 to provide outage scheduling and project controls support services to support outages at its Dickerson Generating Station.
The Spring 2011 outage scope includes boiler and turbine/generator overhauls and a variety of balance of plant work on all three units at the 570-MW generating station in Dickerson, MD. Outage management tools will include IBM's Maximo work mananagement software and Oracle's Primavera P6 project management software.
